Staying at the Park Hotel, Bruges

Day 1

We board our coach this morning and make our way to Dover making refreshment stops en route. Once in Dover we board the ferry for the short sea crossing to Calais, from Calais we journey to Bruges for our two night stay at the four star Park Hotel which is situated on t’ Zand Square which is around ten minutes walk from the market. The area has many stylish cafes and restaurants.

 

Day 2

Today we have a full day, at leisure to enjoy Bruges its squares, gardens,canals,grand buildings and cobbled streets. The compact centre is now classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site and offers a fascinating exploration opportunity.

 

Day 3

This morning we visit Gent with its old town, belfry and cathedral before heading back to Calais and the return ferry to Dover. Once in Dover we rejoin the coach and return home arriving during the evening.
