Day 1

We board our coach this morning and travel through the Midlands and into Cheshire arriving at The Ramada Hotel during the afternoon for our three nights stay. The four star hotel is situated just outside the historic city of Chester.

 

Day 2

Today we have a full day excursion to Liverpool. Whether you are fanatical about sport, a culture vulture, enjoy exploring heritage sites or are a music lover, Liverpool, 2009  European Capital  of Culture,  has plenty to offer.  Visit the Albert Dock, join the Beatles tour or enjoy the great shopping. It is all available in this vibrant city.

 

Day 3

Today we have a full day to explore the picturesque and historic city of Chester. Visit the unique 13th century, half  timbered, galleried shops known as “The Rows”, see the glorious cathedral or enjoy one of the many lovely parks.

 

Day 4

We leave Chester this morning and travel homeward. We make our way over the Horseshoe Pass and make a stop at the town of Llangollen on the banks of the River Dee. Llangollen has many things to interest the visitor. There are canals with horse drawn boats, the Pontcysyllte aqueduct, the highest and longest in the canal system and a steam railway. After making our lunch stop here in Llangollen we then continue our journey arriving by late afternoon.
