EASTBOURNE

Staying at The Claremont Hotel, Eastbourne

Day 1

We board our coach this morning for our journey to Eastbourne and our five night stay at The Claremont Hotel. The 3 star hotel commands possibly the finest location on the seafront. Located on the famous Grand Parade with just 20 steps to the seafront and pier.

 

Day 2

A day at leisure to enjoy all that Eastbourne has to offer; delightful sea views and floral gardens, promenade and Victorian pier, the beach, a miniature railway and Sovereign Marina as well as good shopping in town. Perhaps enjoy some sightseeing on an open top bus before returning to the hotel dinner and evening entertainment.

 

Days 3 - 5

Our included excursions will include a journey through the Weald of Kent, one of the most scenic stretches of countryside in England, an area of outstanding natural beauty to visit Royal Tunbridge Wells. We have some time here to explore this historic spa town. We will also visit Rye which has a beautiful location overlooking the River Rother and Romney Marsh. Rye has quaint cobbled streets, preserved historic houses and a medieval church, in addition we visit Battle and Hastings with plenty to see including The Blue Reef Aquarium, St Mary in the Castle or the Old Town Ghost Walk.

 

Day 6

This morning we leave the Claremont Hotel to make our return journey home. We make a stop at Windsor with all it’s attractions before continuing to the Forest of Dean arriving late afternoon.
