EDINBURGH MILITARY TATTOO
Staying at the Queens Hotel, Perth
Friday 24th -
4 Days
Day 1
Following a morning departure we travel through the Midlands, the north west and on passing the Lake District en route to the Scottish border. We continue through the border region and lowlands and on to Perth where we spend the next three nights at the Queens Hotel.
Day 2
Today we travel into Edinburgh for some time at leisure to enjoy the many attractions of the capital city. Maybe visit the castle, the park, the whiskey distillery or retail therapy in Princes Street, This evening we take our seats for the unforgettable, annual spectacle of the Edinburgh Tattoo set against the stunning backdrop of Edinburgh Castle.
Day 3
Today we tour the Trossachs region, visiting Aberfoyle and Callander. We return to our hotel, via Loch Tay and Aberfeldy, in time for dinner.
Day 4
We leave Perth this morning and retrace our journey south. We make several stops on our homeward journey arriving early evening.
