ISLE OF WIGHT DELIGHTS

Staying at the Melbourne Ardenlea Hotel, Shanklin

Day 1

We board our coach this morning and make our way to Portsmouth for our short trip across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. Once on the Isle of Wight our coach transfers us to the Melbourne Ardenlea Hotel for our four night stay. The hotel has an enviable location with splendid views. A warm welcome is assured with special attention paid to service and comfort.

 

Day 2 - 4

The Isle of Wight has numerous places of interest and we have included excursions to several of these over the next three days. Excursions include visits to Alum Bay with it’s multi coloured sand and views of the Needles and lighthouse, Sandown and Ventnor, Cowes and Ryde. We will also have a free day to enjoy Shanklin, a town with many interesting shops, cafes and restaurants, where cliffs shelter the seafront esplanade and sandy beaches

 

Day 5

We leave the Melbourne Ardenlea after breakfast this morning and take the ferry to Portsmouth. We rejoin our coach and make our way homeward. Making refreshment stops en-route we arrive by late afternoon.
