ISLE OF WIGHT

Staying at the Bembridge Coast Hotel, Isle of Wight
Monday 14th – Friday 18th November 2011
5 Days
Day 1
We board our coach this morning and travel to Portsmouth for our short sea crossing to Fishbourne. Here we rejoin our coach and make our way to the Bembridge Coast Hotel. The Bembridge Coast enjoys an idyllic setting overlooking the Solent and has everything that you would expect from a Warners, comfortable accommodation, relaxing lounge, bar and restaurant areas, live entertainment, sport and leisure facilities. We have the next four nights here to enjoy our Turkey and Tinsel break.
Day 2
Today we have a ”Round the Island Tour” visiting Isle of Wight Pearl, Alum Bay, Isle of Wight Glass. We return to our hotel this afternoon with time to enjoy the leisure facilities before dinner and our evening entertainment.
Day 3
Today we visit Sandown where we have some free time before travelling across the Island with an option to visit Osborne House, Queen Victoria’s island retreat. We make a stop in Ryde on our return journey to Bembridge Coast Hotel.
Day 4
This morning we have included a half day excursion to Newport , the county town of the island. Newport has a range of speciality shops and an interesting quay. We then make our way to the pretty village of Godshill, named after the 15th century church which over looks the village and is amongst the 10 most visited churches in the UK. Godshill is the quintessential English village with its model village depicting the area in miniature and shops offering local craft and produce. After returning to our hotel we have the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy all that the Bembridge Coast has to offer. A swim in the heated pool perhaps or enjoy the sauna, steam room, solarium and fitness suite. A leisurely lunch and an invigorating walk in the 23 acres of landscaped gardens or maybe opt for a beauty treatment. The choice is yours.
Day 5
We say goodbye to the Isle of Wight and make the return crossing to the mainland. We rejoin our coach and travel toward home arriving by late afternoon.
