We make an early start and travel to London for our two night stay at The Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel. Whilst in the capital city, on this special four day bank holiday weekend. We can be part of the various events planned to take place to celebrate The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, 60 years of the Queen’s reign. (The late 2012 May bank holiday will be moved to Monday June 4th and Tuesday 5th June will be an additional bank holiday). One of the main highlights will be the Jubilee Pageant on the Thames led by the Queen. There will be concerts, parades and special exhibitions to mark this occasion throughout the UK especially in our capital city. Your time will be at leisure to decide how you would wish to be part of this once in a lifetime event. We return to the Forest of Dean after

lunch on Tuesday arriving early evening.
