Staying at The Bay Hotel, Newquay

Day 1
Following a morning departure we travel through the west country into Devon and on to the popular Cornish resort of Newquay. We spend four nights at the Bay Hotel for our Turkey and Tinsel experience, The hotel’s location is superb with a panoramic outlook across Fistral Bay where you can watch Atlantic rollers break against the shore.
Day 2 -
Over our “Christmas” period we can enjoy all of the usual celebrations and festivities. We have a welcome sherry reception, traditional Christmas dinner on one evening with entertainment, a visit from Santa with treats for everyone and a Christmas cake competition. As well as enjoying the “festive season” we have included excursions to some of Cornwall’s most popular destinations as well as some free time in Newquay. We visit Truro, an elegant cathedral city with cobbled streets and excellent pedestrianised shopping, and St Ives with spectacular beaches and home to the Tate Gallery. We also visit Falmouth and Penzance to complete a kaleidoscope
of Cornish treats.
Day 5
We leave Newquay this morning and make our return journey stopping at the famous Jamaica Inn on Bodmin Moor for coffee before continuing our journey towards home arriving home by late afternoon.
