ABROAD IN NORFOLK

Staying at the Ramada Norwich Hotel, Norwich

5 Days

 

Day 1

This morning we join our coach and travel to Norwich, making refreshment stops en route. We arrive at the Ramada Norwich Hotel in the afternoon for our Four night stay in this lovely part of the country. We have some free time to relax before dinner.

 

Day 2

This morning a 2 hour guided tour of the historic and very beautiful city of Norwich. The tour includes a mixture of coach sightseeing and gentle walking and includes a visit to the famous Colman’s Mustard Shop. This afternoon we travel to Great Yarmouth for an afternoon beside the sea. We return to our hotel late afternoon.

 

Day 3

Our excursion today is aboard the Bure Valley Steam Railway to the capital of the Broads of Wroxham. The Bure Valley Railway is Norfolks longest narrow gauge steam railway. At Wroxham we transfer to Wroxham Bridge for a leisurely Broads cruise. This afternoon we have included a visit to the Broads Wildlife Centre at Ranworth where we have an introductory talk on the Norfolk Broads. We then have some time, at leisure, for a stroll amongst these lovely surroundings.

 

Day 4

After a leisurely breakfast this morning we make our way to the bustling Edwardian seaside town of Cromer. Cromer is famous for its very tasty Cromer Crabs which can be sampled in one of the seafood restaurants. Cromer has a wonderful pier, landscaped cliff top gardens, promenades and Blue Flag Beaches. We have the day here at leisure.

 

Day 5

We leave Norwich this morning and join our coach for a leisurely drive home making comfort stops en route. We arrive by late afternoon.
