Staying at the Fishguard Bay Hotel, Fishguard

Day 1
Following a morning departure we travel to West Wales making a lunch stop en route. We continue into Pembrokeshire and onto the Fishguard Bay Hotel where we spend the next Four nights. The Fishguard Bay Hotel is a splendid Victorian Hotel nestled into the cliffs with spectacular views over the bay.
Day 2
This morning we have an excursion to the little ‘city’ of St Davids with its magnificent cathedral. We have a full day tour with a local guide around some of the many local craft centres.
Day 3
Today we make a morning excursion to Haverfordwest. The afternoon is spent in and around Fishguard with a chance to enjoy some of the wonderful coastal scenery forming the Pembrokeshire National Park.
Day 4
A trip today, to the lovely seaside resort of Tenby, with its rich sandy beaches. We have included a boat trip to the to beautiful Caldey Island, home, for centuries to an order of Cistercian monks. On Caldey we can stroll around the island, watch the seals from the headland , take tea in the garden café or browse the gift shops which offers , amongst other things, perfume and wine produced here.
Day 5
Today we leave this lovely area and make our way towards home taking the scenic route through the Brecon Beacons. We arrive home in the afternoon.
