Day 1
Following a morning departure we travel northward making refreshment stops en-
Day 2 “Christmas Eve”
This morning we visit the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. Surrounded by hills and green pines it is one of the most spectacular view in Scotland. We visit Loch Lomond shores with its shopping mall, restaurant and unique visitor centre that has been built as a modern day Scottish castle. We return to the hotel in time for afternoon tea and an evening of song and dance.
Day 3 “Christmas Day”
Today the great Scottish countryside will take us “up hill and down dale” as we have an excursion exploring the Trossachs. We return to our hotel in time for a traditional Christmas dinner, a visit from Father Christmas with a present and then have a fun musical quiz.
Day 4 “Hogmany”
This morning we board our coach and travel to the ancient city of Stirling. Here we can visit the impressive castle which stands elevated over the city or spend some time shopping for some traditional gifts or presents. We return via Falkirk where we can see the Falkirk Wheel, the only rotating boat lift in the world. This evening we have a traditional Scottish dinner with Scottish music, dancing and a piper.
Day 5
This morning we say goodbye to Scotland with a hot toddy to send us on our way. We travel homeward arriving in the evening.
