WARNERS LEISURE BREAK

Staying at the Cricket St Thomas, Somerset

Monday 13th - Friday 17th February 2012

Day 1

We board our coach and head southward passing Taunton, Ilminster and on to Warners Hotel at Cricket St Thomas. The hotel is a gorgeous 19th Century mansion set in the heart of Somerset’s cider country and is noted for it’s 160 acres of gardens including a pose garden maze and was the location for ‘To the Manor Born’. The hotel has all of the features and facilities that you would expect of a Warners Hotel and this is where we spend the next four nights.

 

Day 2 - 4

Over these three days we have included various excursions for your pleasure as well as some time to enjoy the Warners Hotel leisure facilities. Our excursions include a trip to Exeter, the capital city of Devon with it’s magnificent St Peters Cathedral as well as visits to Seaton and Sidmouth, two of the loveliest coastal resorts in the area also Lyme Regis and the market town of Dorchester. This break will include additional features for Valentines day.

 

Day 5

We board our coach this morning for our homeward journey. En route we visit Glastonbury, a fine market town well known for its Torr overlooking seven counties, Chalice Well with its claimed magical properties, and the ancient abbey. After some time in Glastonbury we continue our journey arriving in the afternoon.
