Staying at Sinah Warren Hotel, Hayling Island
Monday 9th -
5 Days
Day 1
Following a morning departure we travel towards the south coast. En route we make a lunch stop at the lovely city of Winchester. Later we continue our journey towards Hayling Island where we spend four nights at the Warners Sinah Warren Hotel. The hotel started life as a 15th Century health farm and being situated in the south west of Hayling Island it is within easy reach of many places of interest making it the perfect place from which to explore this picturesque area.
Day 2 -
During our stay we have included various excursions. They are a day to the New Forest, first we visit Exbury Gardens and Miniature Steam Railway. Here we can enjoy the many spring flowers in this lovely setting as well as the other on site attractions. After time at Exbury we make our way to the popular town of Lyndhurst. Another day we travel to Portsmouth, Britain’s foremost naval port. The historic dockyard is a showcase for HMS Victory, the Mary Rose and HMS Warrior. Close by is the Spinnaker Tower which at 170 metres high offers spectacular views over the south coast, an experience not to be missed. We also visit the cathedral city of Chichester on market day and the pretty town of Arundel with it’s quaint shopping streets and magnificent castle. On one afternoon we return to Sinah Warren with time to enjoy all the facilities the hotel has to offer.
Day 5
This morning we leave Hampshire and commence our homeward journey making the usual refreshment stops en route. We arrive home during the afternoon.
